Job of the Week 4/8/16

This week we are highlighting a Management Analyst (posting #3054) withing the Office of the Controller’s Cashier’s Office. The successful candidate oversees and directs the University’s overall compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). In close coordination with the Chief Information Security Officer and MSU Information Security team, the position interprets complex industry standards to manage the inherent risk associated with the security of payment card data; promotes University compliance with the PCI DSS by developing and enforcing policies and procedures; acts as the primary University liaison with service providers and industry consultants; coordinates with Purchasing Department and the Office of General Counsel for review of contracts; performs technical and procedural reviews of various and complex cardholder data environments; communicates technical and business expertise to University executive management, administrators, campus experts (e.g., MSU IT), third-party providers and department/merchant staff; advises department heads and the Controller; and oversees the training of University staff.
