This week we are highlighting an Educational Program Coordinator II (posting #3147) with the College of Human Medicine Dean’s Office. The successful candidate serves as Assistant Director of Rural Community Health Program, an MSU-CHM certificate program designed to expand rural training opportunities for medical students. This position involves assisting in the development of objectives, evaluations, and preclinical and clinical educational experiences for medical students. The Assistant Director will assist in the development of rural health communities throughout rural Michigan which includes working with hospital administrators, public health directors, physicians, and community representatives in selected communities to develop a network for educational experiences; assists with marketing of the program and the development of program materials including website design, and identification and coordination of marketing opportunities; assists with the development of distance learning programs including virtual small groups, virtual classrooms, log based record systems, video conferencing.
