This week we’re highlighting an Academic Technology Coordinator position for the Osteopathic Medicine Dean’s Office (Posting #6109). Some of the job duties for this position include working in conjunction with faculty and administrators in Academic Programs and reporting to the Director of Osteopathic Curriculum; will be responsible for supporting faculty in envisioning, creating and deploying high-quality instructional materials to optimize student learning at MSUCOM; acting as an instructional technology designer in support of faculty clients who teach at MSUCOM; and working directly with course faculty to identify, develop, implement and evaluate innovative resources, strategies and technologies to improve student learning and assessment. This week we’re highlighting a Research Administrator I position for the Natural Science Dean’s Office (Posting #6096).  Some of the job duties for this position include serving as a resource to the Director of the College of Natural Science Office of Research Services, as well as to the College Budget Officer and the Associate Dean for Budget Planning, Research and Facilities on budget and other issues; assisting in all aspects of the preparation of internally and externally funded research projects and other scholarly activities, including identification of potential sponsors; preparing and editing proposals; and working with the Office of Sponsored Project and Contract and Grant Administration to carry out aspects of contract negotiation with sponsored programs, other universities, federal and state governments, foundations, and industries.  For a complete description of this position, and to view all of our current postings, please go to www.jobs.msu.edu and select Support Staff under the Fast Jobs Search.

Yogalates at Lunchtime!

Recreational Sports and Fitness Services offers Yogalates classes every Wednesday from 12:10 p.m. to 12:50 p.m. at IM Circle to help relax some of your morning tension and break up the work day.  Yogalates is a low-intensity workout that blends ideas and forms of Yoga and Pilates to stretch your muscles, increase blood flow, improve your posture and work out your abdominal muscles.
