This week we’re highlighting an Informational and Statistical Analyst position in the College of Human Medicine (Posting #6768).  Some of the job duties for this position include assisting with the management and maintenance of informational databases and computer-based testing; and collecting, preparing, editing and evaluating data in order to develop reports based on that data for various departments and/or units.

Some of the job duties for this position include managing the fiscal and administrative activities of a large and complex veterinary diagnostic laboratory, including participation in the development of business and administrative goals, objectives, policies and procedures; planning, directing and managing the financial reporting process as it relates to the business of the laboratory; establishing standards, procedures and priorities for laboratory systems that impact cash flow and client services; and interacting with laboratory leadership team and advising on strategic initiatives. Upcoming Smoking Cessation Program Orientation

Quitting smoking is one of the hardest health behaviors to change. But it is also one of the best health decisions you can make.

There’s an orientation session for the next cycle of the MSU Smoking Cessation Program on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in room 247 of Olin Health Center. The orientation session allows attendees to learn about the program and get all their questions answered. No commitment is required on the enrollee’s part until after the orientation is complete, and then it’s up to them! This week we’re highlighting an Educational Program Coordinator II position in the Women’s Resource Center (Posting #6694).  The Women’s Resource Center (WRC) operates from several core themes which include social justice, leadership development and work life engagement; the WRC provides a forum to examine structures of power and privilege across all aspects of identity; the Center is responsible for providing resources, programming, mentoring and opportunities for collaboration with other units across campus and in the broader community as they pertain to gender and the WRC’s three core themes.
