Job of the Week 8/15/16

This week we are highlighting a Communications Manager I (posting #3825) with International Studies and Programs. The Global Center for Food Systems Innovation Communications Manager will oversee all aspects of the Center’s strategic planning and marketing programs including publications, web site, social media and media relations. This work will include the following tasks: communicate the work and mission of the Center to internal and external stakeholders; collect, write, and advertise the stories of GCFSI; write and edit GCFSI brand building content and promotional materials; compose, create, manage, and maintain electronic and print publications; manage website content for GCFSI and social media for GCFSI; conduct basic day-to-day communications and prepare fliers, postcards, presentations, etc., on an as needed basis; work with the director, staff, faculty, and students in developing marketing strategies for the Center and will coordinate the implementation of this plan; plan, develop, create, produce, edit, and strategize how best to promote GCFSI as a priority project of MSU and USAID.
