Red Cedar River Memories

Have you taken a long walk along it with a loved one? Or fed the ducks by the Administration Building? Maybe you’ve viewed the graffiti under the bridge by The Rock? Or did you canoe through it? No matter which of these you’ve done (or maybe you haven’t done any at all!), we all seem to have great memories of the Red Cedar River on MSU’s campus. It flows through the historic and central parts of campus, and it’s difficult to pass by without noticing it. From hurried faculty and staff on their way to a class or meeting, to couples enjoying a romantic picnic, the Red Cedar has thousands of people visit each year.

If you haven’t had a chance to enjoy the Red Cedar River, we encourage you to do so soon! You can rent a bicycle from MSU Bikes at Bessey Hall, or you can walk along the many paths and bridges surrounding it.
