This week we’re highlighting a Community Operations Coordinator II/RHS position (Posting 7536). Some of the duties of the position include providing administrative leadership for the following specialized areas: Conferences, Neighborhood and Engagement Center Initiatives, Cash Handling, Hiring and Training. Senior Community Operations Coordinators are responsible for operational administrative functions for the neighborhood engagement center, university partners and/or designated communities. Community Operations Coordinators II/RHS also have overall administrative leadership and support for a residence hall or apartment complex; recruits, hires. This position trains, supervises and evaluates student team members who work at the Guest Service Centers; provides residence hall tours, works in the Business Office, works with the Safety and Service Center Administrator, and provides service for the Summer operations; reports to the community director. Residence Education and Housing Services team members are committed to the following principles: 1) student learning, engagement and development through the neighborhood model, 2) intercultural learning and inclusion, 3) restorative justice principles and 4) sustainable practices.
