The duties of the position include supervising, scheduling, prioritizing, and assigning the work of the support staff of the RHS Health and Safety Office; assisting the RHS Health and Safety Coordinator in conducting inspections, training, and related projects for occupational health, safety, and emergency response activities for the Division of Residential and Hospitality Services; maintaining health and safety program records and filing systems; assisting in the development and implementation of occupational health, safety, and compliance procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and practices; coordinating required inspections and repairs of life safety systems; facilitating periodic assessments and audits of work locations.
