Visit this link to enter our “Where’s the FSA Pig?” contest! There are seven photos, and you need to guess where the piggy bank is in each of these photos taken on MSU’s campus. The first person to guess all the photos correctly by 1 p.m. on Monday, November 12 will win an FSA piggy bank. If nobody guesses all locations correctly, the winner will be the first person to get the most locations right by Monday, November 12. We’re also holding this contest on Facebook and Twitter. FSA Open Enrollment Guide is Now Posted!

Your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Open Enrollment Guide is now available for viewing. FSA Open Enrollment for the 2013 plan year will be held Monday, October 29 through Monday, November 12, 2012.

You are invited to attend one of the following FSA drop-in assistance sessions conducted by the MSU HR Benefits staff and FSA plan administrator, Meritain Health:

Don’t forget – tomorrow is the last day to enroll in voluntary vision insurance and group legal services! Open enrollment for these two employee-paid benefits ends on Friday, October 19. To enroll, visit www.MSUBenefitsPlus.com. You will need to create an account with the MSU Benefits Plus site to enroll in any of the new programs.

And then, on Monday, October 29, 2012, an open enrollment period for Critical Illness Insurance begins. Critical Illness open enrollment runs during the same time period as FSA Open Enrollment, October 29 through November 12, 2012. To enroll in Critical Illness Insurance, you will need to visit the MetLife website at www.mybenefits.metlife.com. 2012 Campus Flu Clinics

Today begins the on-campus flu shot clinics! The University Physician’s Office will again be offering flu clinics at various campus locations in October and November. Flu vaccines administered at the flu clinics will again be subsidized by Human Resources for MSU faculty, staff and retirees and will be offered at a cost of $10. MSU Benefits Plus Opens Today!

Starting today, MSU is offering a new line of voluntary, employee-paid benefits to benefits-eligible employees called MSU Benefits Plus. Upcoming Smoking Cessation Program Orientation

Quitting smoking is one of the hardest health behaviors to change. But it is also one of the best health decisions you can make.

There’s an orientation session for the next cycle of the MSU Smoking Cessation Program on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in room 247 of Olin Health Center. The orientation session allows attendees to learn about the program and get all their questions answered. No commitment is required on the enrollee’s part until after the orientation is complete, and then it’s up to them!
